Job summary

LJ Inc. is seeking a skilled professional to safely transport, install, and rig industrial machinery across projects. You will operate gantry and overhead cranes, coordinate crews, and ensure progress is communicated to customers and managers.

You will train apprentices, uphold strict safety standards, and travel as needed to job sites, supporting our commitment to quality and timely delivery.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in industrial machinery installation and removal.
• Willingness to travel.
• CDL-A is a plus (license)

Responsibilities

• Safely transport and install machinery of various sizes.
• Perform rigging operations on stamping presses, weld cells, assembly cells, fixtures, and mezzanines.
• Operate gantries, overhead cranes, mobile cranes, and forklifts.
• Lead and coordinate crews on small and large-scale projects.
• Maintain clear communication with customers, project managers, and estimators regarding job progress.
• Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.
• Train apprentices and team members on rigging techniques and equipment operation.

Preferred Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in industrial machinery installation and removal
• Experience operating gantries, overhead cranes, and mobile cranes
• Valid driver's license (CDL-A is a plus)
• Willingness to travel
