Job summary

Lead Staffing is hiring a Rigger for the San Diego, CA shipyard industry. The role is 1st shift (6:00am-2:30pm) with overtime as needed, working on Naval Bases and Shipyards in San Diego.

Qualified candidates should have at least 4 years of rigging experience in heavy industrial or shipyards, understand weights of equipment and rigging tools, and be skilled with power tools; mechanical aptitude is essential.

Lead Marine San Diego, CA, USA Full Time 1st Shift (6:00am-2:30pm)

Lead Marine is currently looking to hire Riggers for the Shipyard Industry here in San Diego. This Rigging job will be working on Naval Bases & Shipyards from 6:00am to 2:30pm and overtime as needed. DBIDs badge in hand is a plus.

Requirements

• Align, level and anchor machinery.
• Attach loads to rigging to provide support or prepare them for moving, using hand and power tools.
• Attach pulleys and blocks to fixed overhead structures such as beams, ceiling and gin pole bolos using bolts and clamps.
