Job summary

Energy Solutions is seeking experienced Nuclear Advanced Riggers with NCCCO or NCCER Advanced Rigger Certification. Candidates must have held unescorted access/nuclear security clearance at a Nuclear Power Plant within the last 365 days and be available to report to site on 9/21/2026.

A high school diploma and 3+ years of nuclear experience are required. Required training includes Radiation Worker Training, Plant Access Training, Fitness for Duty, and related certifications.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 3+ years of experience.
• Prior nuclear power plant experience is highly desired.
• Must be able to obtain nuclear unescorted access and fitness for duty.
• Successful completion of Radiation Worker Training, Plant Access Training, Fitness for Duty, etc.
• Able to understand and carry out written and oral instructions.
• Able to assemble/disassemble objects and operate small equipment and power tools.
• Shift work availability, if needed.
• Able to support other crafts as requested.
• Able to work at varying heights, in cramped quarters, extreme heat/cold, and loud environments (above 89 dB).
• Knowledge of processes and procedures.
• Ability to maintain knowledge of technical manuals and procedures.
• Able to pass training and qualifications.
• Willingness to work overtime, including shift work, weekends and holidays.
• Able to pass background and screening requirements (drug/alcohol).
• Physical demands: vision, balance, dexterity, hearing, etc.
