Job summary

TETRA Technologies, Inc. is seeking an entry-level Field Technician to learn and support water transfer equipment operations in our field teams.

You will assist with installation preparations, rig up/down, and routine maintenance while complying with Health, Safety, and Environmental guidelines. The role emphasizes safety, environmental responsibility, and teamwork; candidates with 0–2 years of experience and High School Diploma or GED are encouraged to apply.Physical duties and outdoor

Qualifications

  • High School Degree or GED required.
  • 0–2 years of experience preferred or required.
  • Strong safety awareness and environmental consciousness.

Responsibilities

  • Learn basic water transfer equipment and service operations.
  • Assist in layflat and equipment preparation for installation and service.
  • Assist in rig up/down and cleaning, repair, and preparation for next job.
  • Notify Supervisor of any problems observed during work.
  • Promote safety and environmental compliance with HSE regulations.
  • Conduct daily JSEA to ensure tasks and risks are understood.
  • Provide proactive service to customers to meet or exceed standards.
  • Support Quality Management System and ISO 9001 requirements.

  • Learn basic water transfer equipment and service operations
  • Assists in preparation of laylfat and equipment for installation and service
  • Assists in the Rig up and Rig Down of a job and in the cleanup, repair, and preparation of the equipment for the next job
  • Notifies the Supervisor in charge of any problems observed related to the work
  • Promotes safety awareness and environmental consciousness, and ensures his compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) regulations and guidelines
  • Conducts daily JSEA to ensure all personnel understand their tasks and associated risks so that the work is performed safely
  • Provide a positive and proactive service for the customer; ensuring that all tasks performed meet or exceed the customer’s standards to maintain a positive image of the company
  • Ensure systems are developed with commitment to consultation and participation with employees and implemented to identify, assess, monitor, review, and control HSEQ impacts related to our business activities; and conducting periodic audits and reviews of
  • Supports and participates in the organization’s Quality Management System to conform to ISO 9001 requirements by complying with Quality Policies and Procedures and meeting Quality Objectives
Requirements
  • EDUCATION: High School Degree or General Education Degree (GED)
  • EXPERIENCE: 0-2 years’ experience
