Job summary

ADM's Rice Mill in Arbuckle, CA is seeking a Milling Supervisor to oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring safety, sanitation and regulatory compliance. You will train and supervise both salaried and hourly employees across operations and maintenance.

You will lead production, optimize yields, implement SOPs, and partner with the Commercial team to meet deadlines, reporting directly to the Plant Manager.

Qualifications

• At least three years of production and one year supervisory exposure in a food processing or similar environment.
• Demonstrated commitment to plant health and safety with experience leading safety programs.
• Working knowledge of GMP and HACCP or HARPC.

Responsibilities

• Lead safe, efficient daily operation of the Rice Mill across safety, quality and production.
• Supervise, train and develop hourly and salaried team members.
• Interview and hire production staff as needed.
• Implement and maintain SOPs to drive consistent efficiency.
• Partner with Commercial team to develop milling schedule and meet deadlines.
• Assist in troubleshooting production challenges and optimizing yields.
• Support third-party audits and ensure regulatory compliance (OSHA, EPA, FDA, USDA, HARPC).
• Help implement safety programs across the facility.
• Report to Plant Manager and contribute to plant-wide goals.
