Qualifications

• Experience working with K-12 students; two years teaching experience preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree with GPA ≥3.0; Master’s degree preferred.
• GPA between 2.5 and 3.0 may require additional recommendations.
• Rhode Island certification or in process of obtaining certification.
• Certification for role: Elementary Special Education Teacher (11282).

Responsibilities of an Achievement First Teacher will include but are not limited to:

• Utilize data from Achievement First’s interim assessments to drive instruction and intervention.

Professional learning, development and growth

• Collaborate with coach, grade-level chair and school team to improve instructional, culture-building and leadership skills.
• Attend all professional development, team planning and data analysis meetings.

Educational Background And Work Experience

• Experience working with K-12 students, with two years of teaching experience preferred.

• Employees at Achievement First are provided with a competitive salary. Our salaries are set through a lens of equity, and based on an individual’s skills, education, and years of experience relevant to the role. Teacher salaries in RI range from $50,500-$ 94,336.
