Job summary

DOCS Health is seeking an Oral Surgeon to provide dental exams and treatments for military service members. The role focuses on weekend scheduling with occasional weekdays in Texas, supported by our fixed-clinic, mobile treatment center and telemedicine capabilities.

Candidates must hold a DDS/DMD with advanced education in Oral Surgery, possess an active US dental license, CPR/BLS, and be comfortable with computer programs.

Qualifications

• DDS or DMD from an accredited US program with Advanced education in Oral Surgery.
• Active and Unrestricted State Dental License.
• CPR/BLS Certification and computer proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Perform simple surgical extractions and third molar procedures.
• Handle partial or full bony impactions; voucher out if needed.
• Manage soft tissue impactions; voucher out if needed.
• Work with mobile dentistry setups and coordinate with military medical services.

Attention all Oral Surgeons we are calling on you to work with us providing dental exams and treatment to our Military Service members.

We will primarily work weekends, with some occasional weekdays in the State of Texas on an "as needed basis".

We Provide Health Readiness Services To Meet The Medical And Dental Requirements To Maintain a Deployable Military Force For The Following:

• U.S. Army Reserve (USAR)
• Army National Guard (ARNG)
• U.S. Navy Reserve (USNR)
• U.S. Marine Forces Reserve (MARFORRES)
• U.S. Coast Guard Reserve (USCGR)
• Air National Guard (ANG)
• U.S. Air Force Reserve (USAFR)

Responsibilities

• Simple surgical extractions
• 3rd Molars
• Partial bony or full bony impactions - can voucher out if needed.
• Soft tissue impactions - can voucher out if needed.

Requirements

• DDS or DMD from an accredited US program with Advanced education in Oral Surgery.
• Excellent proficiency and knowledge of requisite procedural skills
• Active and Unrestricted State Dental License
• DEA license as required.
• CPR/BLS Certification
• Comfortable working with mobile dentistry and equipment - preferred
• Experience working with military - preferred
• Proficient with computer programs
• Must have weekend availability
