Job summary

TalkPath Live is seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist for a fully remote, school-based telepractice role. This contract (1099) position allows flexible hours and work-from-home autonomy, serving students during the school day.

Candidates must hold active state licensure for independent practice and for states TalkPath Live hires, with a willingness to obtain additional credentials as required. A reliable internet connection and private workspace are essential.

Qualifications

• Functional understanding of reliable internet tools and telepractice platforms.

Responsibilities

• Provide teletherapy services to students during school hours.

Job Description

TalkPath Live partners with schools to provide teletherapy services to students, during school hours, and is currently hiring a licensed and experienced speech language pathologist on a contractual (1099 position) basis. The position is a fully virtual school-based position, working from home. This is a truly rewarding opportunity for caring therapists who are looking for flexible hours, autonomy, and a deep sense of fulfillment that comes with affecting a real impact in their students' lives. We are happy to provide support if you are making a transition from a medical, home health, or adult service setting to a school-based, telepractice one.

Basic Qualifications:

• Therapists should be independent, creative, flexible, and comfortable working on their own computers from home
• Excellent communication skills via email and phone
• Full licensure in your state of residence, allowing independent clinical practice
• Full licensure in state(s) where TPL is hiring, or willingness to become licensed
• Department of Education credential (or willingness to obtain) in states that require it
• Functional understanding of electronic devices
• A reliable Internet connection and a private space or office, free from distractions, in which to practice

Preferred, but not required:

• Experience with school-based practice
• Experience providing remote, virtual services
