Job summary

The University of Washington Department of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery invites applications for a faculty position in Rhinology and Endoscopic Skull Base Surgery at Assistant or Associate Professor without tenure by reason of funding (WOT), with a hoped start in 2027. The role is a full-time twelve-month appointment with potential multi-year terms for 12-month service.

Teaching, research, and collaboration across specialties are expected.

Qualifications

• MD/DO or foreign medical degree and eligibility for Washington State license.
• Fellowship training in Rhinology and Skull Base Surgery is required or strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated record of scholarly activity commensurate with rank and a commitment to teaching and service.

Responsibilities

• Engage in teaching, research, and service within a multidisciplinary environment.
• Maintain a high-volume rhinology and endoscopic skull base surgery practice.
• Collaborate with neurosurgery and ophthalmology teams and participate in clinical, translational, or basic science research.
