Job summary

The University of Florida College of Medicine seeks an Assistant/Associate/Full Professor in Rheumatology to lead patient care in both inpatient and outpatient settings. The role includes supervising Rheumatology Fellows, Residents, and Medical Students, and participating in a weekly half-day multidisciplinary clinic focused on muscle disease or vasculitis.

The successful candidate will collaborate with basic scientists as a clinical mentor for NIH-funded T32 trainees and is encouraged to pursue

Qualifications

• Board-certified or board eligible in Rheumatology.
• MD degree or equivalent and eligible for a Florida Medical License.

Responsibilities

• Patient care in inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Supervision/teaching of Rheumatology fellows, residents and medical students.
• Participation in weekly half-day multidisciplinary clinics (muscle disease or vasculitis).
• Collaborate with a basic scientist as clinical mentor for NIH T32 research trainees.
• Interest in translational research and collaboration with UF Health Shands Hospital.
