UNC Health, in partnership with the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, invites applications for an Open Rank (tenure/tenure track) rheumatology physician-scientist in the Department of Medicine. Primary appointment in Medicine with teaching and clinical duties. Focus on autoimmunity and inflammation; build an extramurally funded program.

Ideal candidates will balance research, teaching and patient care in a collaborative, interdisciplinary environment at UNC-Chapel Hill.

Qualifications

• MD or MD/PhD required.
• Board Certified/Board Eligible in Rheumatology.

Responsibilities

• Teach and/or perform clinical service within the Department of Medicine as a tenured/tenure-track faculty.
• Establish and maintain an extramurally funded research program; pursue research in autoimmunity and/or inflammation related to rheumatic diseases.
