Job summary

Carle Health in Bloomington-Normal, Illinois is seeking a BE/BC Rheumatologist to join the outpatient Rheumatology department. The practice offers a Monday–Friday schedule (8:00 AM–4:30 PM) with no nights, weekends, or on-call requirements.

The team currently includes 1 BC Rheumatologist and dedicated support staff, with opportunity for academic or research affiliation with the Carle Illinois College of Medicine. Excellent benefits, relocation, CME, and tail coverage are provided.

Qualifications

• Board-certified rheumatologist eligible for BE/BC in the region.
• Strong clinical and collaboration skills with primary care colleagues.
• Interest in academic or research affiliation is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient rheumatology care for adult patients.
• Collaborate with primary care and specialty services for comprehensive care.
• Participate in teaching or research and affiliate programs if available.

• Join an established outpatient practice at Carle BroMenn Outpatient Center
• Clinic hours are Mon - Fri, 8 AM - 4:30 PM
• Our Rheumatology team includes 1 BC Rheumatologist and dedicated support staff
• No nights, weekends, or call
• Other services available in building include Therapy, Imaging, General Radiology and Laboratory
• Large primary care network for referrals and collaboration/support
• Opportunity for academic and/or research affiliation with the Carle Illinois College of Medicine in Urbana, IL, the nation's first medical school focused at the intersection of healthcare and engineering

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation range for this position is $340,000 - $355,000. This represents a good faith minimum and maximum range for the role at the time of posting by Carle Health. The actual compensation offered a candidate will be dependent on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate's experience, qualifications, location, training, licenses, shifts worked and compensation model.
