The South Bend Clinic is seeking a Nurse Practitioner for Rheumatology to join our growing team in South Bend, Indiana. This full-time role focuses on delivering high-quality rheumatology care within a collaborative physician-led environment.

Qualifications include a Master’s degree in PA/NP, current state licensure, CPR, and prescriptive authority/licensing as applicable. You’ll work with a supportive team and contribute to comprehensive patient care and education.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree from an accredited PA/NP program.
• Current state licensure as PA/NP and RN.
• CPR (BLS) certification current.
• Active mid-level practitioner controlled substance license and DEA license may be required based on prescriptive authority.

Responsabilités

• Perform patient examinations and treatment; develop care plans and document progress.
• Order laboratory, x-ray, and other non-invasive diagnostic tests as needed.
• Collaborate with supervising physicians and refer to appropriate providers when needed.
• Prescribe medications within scope with physician oversight and required licenses.
• Instruct patients and families on health care, prevention, and home care.
