Job summary

UCB in Phoenix is seeking a Medical Science Liaison to partner with healthcare providers, associations, and internal teams. The MSL will execute medical strategies to improve outcomes for patients with chronic inflammatory diseases, focusing on Rheumatology.

The role requires a Doctorate, up to 75% travel, and residency in the territory, with hybrid work arrangement. The candidate will engage with KOLs, conduct education programs, and contribute to scientific communications and IIS discussions.

Qualifications

• Requires a doctorate in a relevant field (PharmD/MD/DO/PhD).
• Experience in field medical roles and engaging with medical professionals.
• Knowledge of rheumatology, immunology, or related areas is favorable.

Responsibilities

• Maintain deep scientific knowledge in Rheumatology.
• Deliver clinical value propositions to decision-makers and payers.
• Identify research expansion opportunities and educational partners.
• Lead local roundtables and education programs for KOLs.
• Represent as scientific expert at conferences and advisory boards.
• Support cross-functional teams with medical insights for access.
• Review publications and monitor healthcare trends in Rheumatology.
• Communicate market and treatment information to stakeholders.
