Top Echelon LLC is seeking a board-certified/board-eligible rheumatologist for a full-time, on-site role in Rutland, Vermont. Join an established clinical team in an outpatient clinic with inpatient consultation support, focusing on patient-centered care and multidisciplinary collaboration.

Ideal candidates will be MD/DO with Internal Medicine and Rheumatology training, Vermont licensure or eligibility, and DEA registration. Significant benefits and strong administrative backing are offered.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• ACGME-accredited Internal Medicine residency and Rheumatology fellowship.
• Active Vermont license or eligibility before start date.
• Board certification/eligible in Internal Medicine and Rheumatology; active DEA registration.
• Outpatient specialty experience and ultrasound proficiency preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat a wide spectrum of rheumatic, autoimmune, inflammatory, and musculoskeletal disorders.
• Obtain histories, perform exams, and assess disease activity and treatment response.
• Order and interpret labs, imaging, and bone health assessments.
• Develop patient-centered treatment plans including DMARDs and biologics.
• Perform routine office-based rheumatology procedures and injections.
• Educate patients and families and maintain EMR documentation.
• Collaborate with primary care, specialists, and nursing staff for coordinated care.
• Participate in clinical protocol development, meetings, and organizational initiatives.

Education

MD/DO degree (ACGME)

Internal Medicine residency (ACGME)

Rheumatology fellowship (ACGME)

Active Vermont medical license or eligible

Board certification/board eligibility in Internal Medicine & Rheumatology

Active DEA registration

Outpatient specialty practice experience (preferred)
