Job summary

Tampa Family Health Centers in South Tampa invites a Rheumatologist to provide comprehensive outpatient care for rheumatic and autoimmune conditions. You will diagnose, treat, and coordinate care in a collaborative team, with an emphasis on patient education and long-term disease management.

Responsibilities include prescribing DMARDs and biologics, coordinating with infusion and pharmacy services, and working with primary care. Florida medical license and DEA eligibility are required.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited institution.
• Completion of Rheumatology Fellowship.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Rheumatology.
• Eligible for Florida medical license and DEA.
• New graduates encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and manage rheumatologic conditions.
• Develop individualized, evidence based treatment plans.
• Prescribe and manage DMARDs, biologics, and advanced therapies.
• Collaborate with primary care, APPs, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Coordinate with infusion and pharmacy services for integrated care.
• Support patient education and long term disease management.
