Job summary

St. Mary’s Medical Group in Athens, GA is seeking a Board-Certified Rheumatologist to grow our expanding Rheumatology program. You will diagnose and treat musculoskeletal, autoimmune, and connective tissue disorders in an outpatient setting.

The role offers infusion services, a 1:3 call schedule, teaching opportunities for Internal Medicine and Family Medicine residents, and strong referral networks across Northeast Georgia.

Qualifications

• MD or DO
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Rheumatology
• Ability to obtain and hold an unrestricted license to practice in Georgia
• Accepting J1 & H1B 2028 visa candidates

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat a wide range of rheumatic diseases, including musculoskeletal, autoimmune, and connective tissue disorders.
• Outpatient-only practice with no hospital rounding responsibilities.
• Call Requirement: 1:3 outpatient phone call coverage.
• Infusion therapy services are available at both hospital campuses and outpatient infusion facilities.
• Opportunity to teach Internal Medicine and Family Medicine residents.
