Job summary

You will provide comprehensive care for autoimmune, inflammatory, and musculoskeletal diseases, guiding long‑term treatment plans and coordinating with primary care and other specialists.

The role emphasizes evidence‑based practice, patient education, accurate documentation, and participation in quality initiatives.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• Completion of an internal medicine or pediatrics residency program.
• Completion of a rheumatology fellowship program.
• Board-eligible or board-certified in Rheumatology.
• Ability to obtain and maintain unrestricted state medical licensure.
• DEA registration or eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and manage patients with rheumatologic and autoimmune conditions.
• Diagnose and treat inflammatory and degenerative musculoskeletal diseases.
• Develop and implement individualized, evidence-based treatment plans.
• Prescribe and manage immunomodulatory and biologic therapies.
• Provide outpatient rheumatology care and inpatient consultation services as needed.
• Interpret diagnostic studies including laboratory testing, imaging, and bone density scans.
• Perform office-based procedures such as joint aspiration and injection.
• Collaborate with primary care providers and other specialists.
• Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatment options, and disease management.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives.
• Supervise and collaborate with advanced practice providers, residents, or clinical staff as applicable.
