Qualifications
Active, unrestricted medical license required; Indiana licensure or willingness to obtain is necessary.
Comfort practicing in virtual and in-person care environments.
Willingness to travel periodically to partner sites as needed.
Responsibilities
Conduct new patient evaluations and specialist consultations for complex rheumatologic conditions.
Provide physician-level review of escalated clinical cases from APPs.
Develop treatment plans integrating medical therapy and lifestyle interventions.
Skills
Experience with chronic, complex rheumatology patients
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency with EHRs and healthcare technology
Ability to work independently in a team-based model
Education
M.D. or D.O. from an accredited medical school
Board Certification in Rheumatology
Completion of ACGME-accredited internal medicine residency and Rheumatology fellowship
