Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Follow local, state and federal law and adhere to Public Education Department and Local School Board Policy.
• Maintain confidentiality of student information.
• Develop instructional plans and organize class time to provide a balanced program of instruction for students with disabilities.
• Evaluate and maintain an accurate written record of each students’ performance, growth skills and knowledge.
• Assist in the development of Individualized Education Programs to meet individual student’s needs.
• Confer, as needed, with parents to discuss the individual student’s progress.
• Plan and supervise purposeful assignments for teacher aides, when appropriate.
• Perform other relevant tasks as assigned.
