Job summary

Kenco Group, Inc. is seeking a Solutions Design Engineer to design and optimize warehouse layouts using data analytics and AutoCAD/3D tools. The role supports RFP responses with innovative MHE solutions, workflow development, and cost modeling for client projects.

The successful candidate will work closely with customers, vendors, and internal teams to deliver robust logistics solutions, ROI analyses, and clear operation concepts.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering or equivalent from a four-year college or university.
5-8 years of experience and/or equivalent combination of education and experience.
MS Excel, MS Access, MS Project, Power BI, SQL experience.
AutoCAD, 3D modeling (Sketchup)

Responsibilities

Develop warehouse layout using AutoCAD and 3D design software to create visuals (3D layout, videos).
Create data-driven warehouse design criteria from various analytics tools (Excel, Access, Power BI, SQL).
Develop cost models and ROI analyses with vendors and cross-functional teams.
Support sales by describing processes, highlighting innovations, and revising designs per client needs.
Engage in process mapping, layout design, space planning, and inventory assessments.
