Job summary

Astranis is seeking an RF Validation Intern for Summer 2027 to contribute to design validation and measurement automation of RF hardware for new satellite designs. You will help ensure performance targets are met while gaining hands-on experience with cutting-edge space hardware in a fast-paced team.

As an intern, you will measure LNAs, amplifiers, up/down converters, and filters; write automation code; and document test plans and data for review.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's Degree program in electrical engineering, computer engineering, applied physics, or related technical field.
• Passion for hardware development, including working in a fast-paced environment and hands-on design and development
• Deep knowledge of basic RF concepts, such as transmission lines, S-parameters, RF building blocks (amps/mixers/attenuators)
• Experience with Python and object oriented programming concepts
• Experience taking RF measurements with spectrum analyzers, signal generators, network analyzers, etc.

Responsibilities

RF Validation Intern (Summer 2027)

Internships at Astranis typically last for twelve weeks, and are hourly roles designed for students who are currently enrolled at a four-year university.

As an Intern, you will have an amazing opportunity to work on hard problems — we pride ourselves on giving everyone at Astranis a chance to do meaningful work on challenging projects, and the candidate will help contribute to design validation and measurement automation of RF hardware for new and upcoming satellite designs.

Role

Requirements

The base pay for this position is $29.00 per hour.

$29 - $29 USD
