Job summary

Mercury Systems is seeking an RF Test Technician to perform RF measurements on semiconductor components from DC to 40 GHz, including amplifiers, switches, filters, mixers and IMAs. The role includes tuning, data reporting, and adherence to Acceptance Test Procedures (ATP).

Required: 5+ years RF testing experience, High School Diploma, and eligibility for government security clearance. Proficiency with test equipment and documentation is essential.

Qualifications

• Experienced in RF and microwave testing with attention to measurement quality.
• Ability to interpret test instructions and manufacturing procedures.
• Comfort with using lab equipment and basic electronic tools.
• Strong hand-eye coordination and microscope handling skills.

Responsibilities

• Tune, test and troubleshoot microwave components from 20 MHz to 40 GHz.
• Test thermal, shock, vibration and environmental tests; troubleshoot issues.
• Perform RF/Microwave tests using network/spectrum analyzers, generators and meters.
• Set up test equipment for production hardware under minimal supervision.
• Work from schematics, drawings and procedures.
• Assist engineers with prototyping and first-article units.
