Job summary

TRAX International is seeking a technician to measure RF emitting systems and monitor the ambient RF environment using antennas, spectrum analyzers, and signal generators. You will perform Closed Loop and OTA measurements, RF monitoring, and CREW configuration management on test vehicles.

The role requires high school completion or higher, plus 2 years of related experience or an Associate’s degree/military training, and proficiency with MS Word/Excel.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Two years electro-mechanical, electrical, or instrumentation related experience OR Associate’s Degree or Military training.
• Experience using spectrum analyzers and signal generators.

Responsibilities

• Measure RF emissions and ambient RF environment with test equipment.
• Conduct Closed Loop and OTA measurements and RF monitoring services.
• Set up, operate, and adjust test equipment and procedures.
• Record data and resolve problems of significant complexity.
• Install and maintain CREW system hardware on test vehicles; load and verify CREW configurations.
