Frontdoor Defense seeks an RF Test Engineer in Redondo Beach, CA to own the design, bring up, and implementation of RF test fixtures and software for Impulse Space radios. Collaborate with RF and mechanical engineers across diverse test needs, including high-frequency testing up to 32 GHz and GNSS receivers.

The role focuses on test fixture development, validation, and executing desense and coexistence tests to ensure robust wireless performance.

Qualifications

• Experience owning RF test fixtures and validation for RF products.

About The Role

As an RF Test Engineer, your core responsibility will be to own the design, bring up, and implementation of test fixtures and software for Impulse Space's wireless products. You will work with RF engineers, RF software engineers, mechanical engineers, and others to meet test needs across a wide range of capabilities. You may work on uplink and downlink radios up to 32GHz, GNSS receivers, desense testing, and coexistence testing.
