Job summary

Precise Systems seeks an RF Engineer, Journeyman to support our government customer in Jacksonville, FL. You will design, integrate, test, and evaluate RF and EW systems, with emphasis on RF signal analysis and waveform generation.

This role requires on-site work and pursuit of a Secret clearance. Ideal candidates have hands-on RF testing experience, strong documentation skills, and the ability to collaborate across engineering teams in secure environments.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering required.
  • Concentration in microwave/RF preferred.
  • 3+ years in microwave/RF design, testing, or systems engineering.
  • Hands-on RF measurement with lab equipment (SMA, VNA, spectrum analyzers).
  • Understanding RF transmit/receive architectures and integration considerations.
  • Ability to document findings clearly and work in a team.

Responsibilities

  • Support design, development, integration, testing, and evaluation of RF and EW systems and test infrastructure.
  • Perform RF signal analysis, waveform generation, modulation assessment, and RF propagation evaluation.
  • Operate lab/test equipment to construct, acquire, define, measure, and evaluate RF signals and waveforms.
  • Support lab, field, and operational test events including setup, execution, data collection and analysis.
  • Assist with RF modeling, simulation, verification, and assessment of coverage and antenna performance.
  • Analyze RF hardware architectures and integration considerations.
  • Develop test procedures, documentation, reports, and recommendations for customer decisions.
  • Provide equipment setup, calibration awareness, and readiness in lab and field environments.
