Job summary

Microwave Products Group - Pole/Zero Corporation in West Chester, OH is seeking a Test Engineer to support engineering and manufacturing with efficient RF test solutions. Qualifications

  • US Person (citizen or green card) in West Chester, OH area.

Responsibilities

  • Design RF architectures including test fixtures, racks, and test benches.
  • Review and optimize current testing processes with engineers and technicians.
  • Support Automated Test Equipment (ATE) standardization for engineering and production.
  • Develop automated solutions for development and production testing using LabVIEW.
  • Develop test plans, procedures, and test instructions.
  • Perform testing, collect data, and document findings for DVT and qualification.

Summary:

As a Test Engineer at Microwave Products Group - Pole/Zero Corporation in West Chester, OH, you will Support both engineering and manufacturing functions through the development and implementation of efficient test solutions.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Design RF architectures including test fixtures, racks, and test benches
  • Work with engineers and technicians to review and optimize current testing processes
  • Support standardization of Automated Test Equipment (ATE) for engineering and production applications
  • Review and implement solutions to leverage performance improvements of new technology
  • Develop automated solutions to support development and production testing utilizing NI LabVIEW
  • Assist with the development of test plans, procedures, and test instructions
  • Perform testing, collect data, and analyze the results, including documentation of the findings
  • Support DVT and Qualification activities as required
  • Perform maintenance or repairs of equipment and fixtures as required
  • Function effectively as part of a multi-disciplinary team
  • Support system integration testing
Knowledge, skills and abilities strongly preferred include:
  • Demonstrated experience working hands-on in a manufacturing or engineering environment
  • Knowledge and familiarity with RF test equipment, such as signal generators, network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, and other standard RF test equipment
  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task, remain organized and complete objectives on time
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Windows and MS Office applications
  • Ability to work independently with little supervision
  • Possess practical, hands‑on skills and an ability to work collaboratively with engineers, technicians, and operators
  • Ability to read schematics
  • Working knowledge of RF measurements such as bandwidth, gain, selectivity, IL, RL, and other variables
  • Must have excellent written and verbal skills
  • Proficient soldering skills a plus (J-STD-001 certification preferred)
  • Knowledge of MIL-STD-461, MIL-STD-704, and RTCA/DO-160 a plus
  • Knowledge in the use of LabVIEW programming a plus
Requirements Include:
  • Must be a US Person (US Citizen or permanent resident - green card holder)
  • BSEE or BSEET from an accredited college or university and 5+ years of relevant experience
  • Experience with RF based systems required
  • Experience with RF test equipment such as Network Analyzers, Oscilloscopes, and Signal Generators required
  • Experience with military standards and specifications a plus
  • Experience supporting or calibrating RF test architectures a plus
  • Experience performing Measurement System Analysis (MSA) a plus

Pay Range: - annually
