Job summary

BTS Software Solutions is seeking an RF Engineer to lead design, development, and integration of custom radio hardware for critical national security missions at Aberdeen Proving Ground. The role spans RF, digital, FPGA, and embedded systems to deliver new communications capabilities and rapid prototyping.

You will perform hands-on work across architecture, circuit design, board bring-up, RF characterization, and lab testing, collaborating with software, FPGA, cybersecurity and systems

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI security clearance required.
• Bachelor's in Electrical/Computer Engineering or related field, or equivalent.
• Experience designing or debugging RF systems or radio hardware.
• Strong RF fundamentals: signal chains, filtering, impedance, noise.
• Analog/digital circuit design and PCB development experience.
• Familiarity with MATLAB/Simulink, Python, C/C++, or embedded Linux.
• FPGA development using Verilog/SystemVerilog or VHDL.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development, and integration of RF hardware for critical missions.
• Work across RF, digital, FPGA, and embedded systems to deliver new capabilities.
• Prototype solutions rapidly and troubleshoot hardware at board/system levels.
• Collaborate with embedded software, FPGA, cybersecurity, and systems teams.
