Job summary

RealmOne is seeking RF Software Engineer candidates to design and implement DSP algorithms for high-throughput signal processing. You will adapt COTS/GOTS software to meet DoD needs, explain model decisions, and lead software development efforts as projects require.

Strong background in C++, Linux, and Python is essential, with active DoD clearance preferred. The role emphasizes collaboration with system and hardware engineers to derive software requirements and to optimize performance,

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Computer Science or related discipline in DSP algorithms is required.
• Four (4) years RF Software or equivalent experience may substitute for a bachelor’s degree.
• May substitute two (2) years of experience with a Master’s degree.
• Four (4) years experience as a DSP Algorithm developer on projects with similar software processes.
• Four (4) years experience with C++, Linux, Python, or similar development language.
• Certifications: Active IAT II CWIP/DoD 8570 compliant cert preferred; Security clearance with polygraph.

Responsibilities

• Analyze user requirements to derive software design and performance requirements.
• Debug existing software and correct defects.
• Provide recommendations for improving documentation and software development standards.
• Design and code new software or modify existing software to add features.
• Integrate existing software into new or modified systems or environments.
• Develop simple data queries for databases or repositories.
• Write or review software and system documentation.
• Oversee one or more software development teams where applicable.
• Design or implement complex database interfaces/queries.
• Develop or implement algorithms to meet performance and standards.
• Assist with testing procedures for software components.
• Analyze systems, data usage, and workflows to propose software solutions.
• Modify software to improve performance or adapt to new hardware.
• Design, develop and modify software systems using mathematical models to predict outcomes.
• Implement timing and resource constraints in algorithms; ensure quality control.
