Qualifications

• MS in a closely related field (EE, CS, AE, or robotics).
• PhD in a relevant field is preferred.
• Hands-on RF measurement instrumentation and controlled lab environments experience required.
• Ability to work independently within a multidisciplinary research team.
• U.S. citizenship or permanent residency preferred for defense-related work.
• Eligibility to work on U.S. government-sponsored defense research per ITAR/EAR considerations.

Responsibilities

• Lead RF/microwave research in MATRIX Lab facilities including anechoic chamber and tests.
• Develop and evaluate RF sensing and communication architectures for autonomous platforms.
• Coordinate multi-domain sensing experiments with RF, optical, acoustic, and inertial modalities.
• Support underwater RF and acoustic propagation studies in lab water tunnel facilities.
• Prepare technical deliverables and briefings for government and industry sponsors.
