Job summary

Mini-Circuits is seeking a Quality Inspector in New York to perform in-coming, in-process, and final inspections of various parts using a vision system and precision tools. You will read assembly drawings, verify part numbers, and ensure proper documentation in the IQA system while maintaining quality and packaging for shipment.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, color vision, basic computer skills, and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions.

Qualifications

• Minimum High School Diploma or GED or international equivalent.
• Ability to distinguish colors per the ISHIRA test for color blindness.
• Basic computer skills and MS Office familiarity.
• Read and understand English instructions and drawings.
• Operate department equipment and follow 5S practices.
• Maintain clean, organized work area and update KPI boards weekly.
• Able to read assembly and mechanical drawings for requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform visual and electrical inspection using a vision system, calipers, micrometers, and testing tools.
• Inspect PC boards, switches, cores, connectors, resistors, and other components.
• Verify part numbers and document inspection results in IQA systems.
• Capture photographs of rejects and samples; pack units per procedures.
• Follow inspection plans, verify documentation, and raise findings to supervisors.
• Comply with ESD guidelines and safety regulations throughout the process.
• Read drawings to determine exact requirements and ensure correct quantity.
