Job summary

Sigma Defense is seeking a detail oriented Quality Control Engineer focused on RF hardware and electronics. The role involves testing, inspection, troubleshooting, and rigorous documentation to ensure components, assemblies, and systems meet quality standards.

Hands-on use of RF test equipment and adherence to procedures are essential in a fast-paced technical environment. Candidates should have experience with electronic systems, test equipment, and quality documentation.

Qualifications

• Perform inspections, functional testing, and verification of components, assemblies, and finished products.
• Develop, write, and revise test procedures and quality documentation as needed.
• Operate electronic test equipment such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, power supplies, and other lab gear.
• Support RF-related testing using spectrum analyzers or RF test equipment.
• Record, review, and document test results with standard QC forms and systems.
• Identify nonconforming materials or test results and escalate as needed.
• Support root cause investigations and corrective actions.
• Maintain organized quality records and calibration awareness.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, test, and verify incoming components, assemblies, and finished products.
• Execute QC procedures with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Develop or revise test procedures and quality documentation as required.
• Operate lab test equipment including multimeters and oscilloscopes.
• Assist with RF testing and use spectrum analyzers when applicable.
• Document results clearly, maintain quality records, and ensure traceability.
