Job summary

TRAK TECOM designs advanced RF, microwave, and antenna solutions for aerospace and defense applications. The role focuses on PCB design and layout from schematic to release, with close collaboration across engineering, manufacturing, and suppliers.

You will generate fabrication docs, verify footprints, and ensure design-rule compliance while supporting prototype builds and design updates. A strong background in high-speed PCBs and IPC standards is essential.

Qualifications

• Design and layout printed circuit boards for RF, microwave, mixed-signal, digital, and high-speed circuits per requirements.
• Component placement and routing based on schematics, constraints, impedance, grounding, and design rules.
• Create and verify footprints and library elements per IPC and company standards.
• Generate fabrication and assembly documentation including Gerber/ODB++ files and drill files.
• Support prototype fabrication, testing, troubleshooting, and design updates.

Responsibilities

• Design and layout PCBs for RF, microwave, mixed-signal, digital, and high-speed circuits per requirements.
• Place components and route considering stack-up, impedance, grounding, and power distribution.
• Generate and release PCB fabrication/assembly docs (Gerber/ODB++, drill files, 3D models).
• Create footprints and library elements to IPC/company standards.
• Support schematic-to-layout transfer and coordinate with engineers on intent and mechanicals.
• Collaborate with fabrication and testing teams and suppliers throughout product lifecycle.
