Job summary

Northrop Grumman Space Systems in Baltimore, MD is seeking an experienced Senior Principal RF Microwave Design Engineer to lead a team delivering space production hardware. You will work on AESA antennas, RF/microwave subsystems, and full system designs for test campaigns.

The role requires active Secret clearance and collaboration across a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced environment. Strong MATLAB/Python/C# skills and experience with RF test equipment are essential.

Senior Principal RF Microwave Design Engineer will lead a team working toward the delivery of space production hardware across multiple test campaigns. These positions will support our Electronics and Payloads Team, located in Baltimore, MD.Responsibilities include but not limited to:Designs, develops, tests radio frequency (RF) and/or microwave systems architecture, Sub-systems, circuits, or products. Includes antenna design, both reflector and array systems, frequency synthesizers, transmitters, and receivers. General frequent use and application of technical standards, principles, theories, concepts, and techniques. Demonstrates the skill and ability to perform moderately complex professional tasks.
