TheEffector Guidance ElectronicsDepartmentis seeking talented engineers with the skills and passion todevelop complex Radio Frequency (RF) systems, subsystems and components, including antennas, RF circuit cards, and RF test-equipment. A successful candidate is one who functions well in a multi-disciplined team, properly applies engineering tools and processes, and is a self-motivated problem solver with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.This is an entry-level Mechanical Engineer position for an individual with educational experience and professional interest in the application of technical mechanical standards, principles, concepts, and techniques.

What You Will Do

Qualifications You Must Have
  • Typically requires a Bachelor’s in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience

  • Experience performing design and / or analysis throughout the product life cycle to include use of three dimensional (3D) Computer Aided Design (CAD) software

  • Experience with creation of Technical Data Packages (TDPs) using Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)

Qualifications We Prefer
  • Master of Science (MS) in mechanical engineering or electrical engineering

  • Experience performing design and / or analysis for the packaging of RF products (e.g. Circuit Card Assemblies, antennas, radomes, RF test equipment, harnesses and interconnects)

  • Experience with 3D CAD design (preferably Creo Parametric).

  • Experience in antenna and/or electronics packaging.

  • Experience with harness and interconnect design.

  • Experience creating engineering drawings.

  • Experience fabricating prototype designs.

  • Familiarity with the application of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T).

  • Experience working collaboratively in a multi-discipline team.

  • Experience performing tolerance analysis.

  • Self-motivated problem solver with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.

  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with coworkers from many communities and cultures.

  • Demonstrated ability to work with colleagues who represent different types of work and conflict resolution styles.

The salary range for this role is 68,900 USD - 131,100 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays.
