Skyworks Solutions, Inc. is seeking a manufacturing test technician to support RF/DC test operations in a cleanroom environment. The role involves conducting DC and RF tests across frequencies, setting up calibration stations, and assisting design and process teams on test improvements.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in RF testing, strong tool proficiency, and good communication skills. The position requires a 12-hour shift and adherence to ISO/cleanroom standards.

Formación

• 2+ years RF component testing experience.
• Proficient with RF test equipment and MES/FPS software.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work in a cleanroom environment and wear PPE.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct DC and RF testing from DC to mmWave frequencies in an RF test environment.
• Set up and calibrate S-parameters and power test stations per standards.
• Perform limited test setup troubleshooting and fixture wiring.
• Collaborate with test engineers to improve test setups.
• Report test progress to supervisor and internal customers.
• Support training and mentor less experienced team members.
• Work with manufacturing, process and equipment engineering to meet schedules.
• Review control charts and respond to out-of-control conditions.
• Use MES, FPS, MS Word/Excel/PowerPoint and Windows software for tasks.
• Identify safety, tool availability, cycle time, and cost improvements.
• Work overtime as needed.

Description

This role will provide support to Manufacturing and Test Engineering in an expanding RF/DC Test floor in ISO compliant, class 100 semiconductor fabrication cleanroom.

This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship by the Company.

Responsibilities

• Conduct DC and RF testing from DC to mmWave frequencies in an RF test environment
• Setup and calibrate [S] parameters and power test stations following Qorvo standards
• Perform limited test setup troubleshooting, assemble fixtures, wire harnesses
• Interact with test engineers to support test setup improvement when applicable
• Report test progress to supervisor and internal customers
• Support training sessions and provide guidance to less experienced team members
• Work closely with manufacturing, process and equipment engineering to resolve problems and meet production schedules.
• Review statistical test control charts for process quality and react to out of control conditions
• Use standard software applications (MES, FPS, Spotfire, Camline, FDC, MS Office) to perform job tasks
• Identify and address potential areas for improvement and optimize safety, tool availability, cycle time, utilization and cost
• Work overtime as needed to accomplish the duties and responsibilities required of the job

Required Experience and Skills

• Associates Degree in Electrical Engineering or an equivalent amount of experience
• 2+ years of experience in RF component testing
• Versatility and ability to work on multiple tasks
• Proficient with test equipment including PXI systems, RF sources, pulse generators, spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, vector network analyzers, noise figure analyzers, power meters, power supplies, and digital multi-meters
• Knowledgeable in RF testing includes S-parameters, noise figure, power, pulsed power, high power RF, TOI
• Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal skills
• Operate as a team player with a positive attitude
• Proficient in MES, FPS, MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Windows-based software
• Experience with concept and practices of Theory of Constraints, Continuous Improvement and Lean Manufacturing is desirable.
• This factory position requires wearing cleanroom attire and protective equipment, and standing for extended periods of time during a 12 hour shift

The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is currently USD$21.35 -$38.32 per hour. Starting base pay will depend on relevant experience and skills, training and education, business needs, market demands, the ultimate job duties and requirements, and work location. Skyworks has different base pay ranges for different work locations in the U.S.
