Job summary

Henry Schein, Inc. is seeking a warehouse associate to join our distribution team. You will verify received items, break down into correct units, and place products in the proper stocking locations while rotating stock according to expiration dates.

You will learn to use RF technology and assist in Receiving and Picking, participating in special projects and other duties. The role requires adherence to company standards and WWBS policies, with a focus on accuracy and quality of work.

Qualifications

• Good reading, writing, math, and computer skills.
• Good communication (written/verbal) skills.
• Detail oriented and accountable for making accurate decisions under set guidelines.

• Ability to follow instructions, work under stress, and handle multiple assignments.
• Ability to read fine print and differentiate products with similar characteristics (size, color, vendor code).

Responsibilities

• Verifies items received by matching description, quantity, packaging, and expiration date on putaway documents or RF device.
• Breaks down products into correct selling units and places them in the correct stocking locations.
• Notes discrepancies and flags items for supervisor review.
• Ensures stock rotation for items with expiration dates.
• Learn to utilize RF technology.
• Handle damaged inventory and direct to designated area or spill team as needed.
• Train in Receiving and Picking and participate in special projects.
• Maintain compliance with company standards for quantity and quality of work and adhere to WWBS policies.
• Adhere to workplace behavior standards per company directives.
