Job summary

COMTECH TELECOMMUNICATIONS in Chandler, AZ invites an RF Hardware Engineering Co-Op to join our Space and Satellite engineering team. This internship provides hands-on RF hardware design experience, supporting PCB-level RF tasks, guided lab work, and documentation under the mentorship of senior engineers.

As part of a learning-focused program, you will perform RF measurements, simulations, and test analyses while contributing to design updates and project deliverables.

Qualifications

• Completion of a graduate-level RF/Microwave Circuit Design course.
• Proficiency with RF circuit simulation tools and PCB trace signal integrity modeling (ADS, Genesys, Spice, etc.).
• Familiarity with RF front-end gain analysis is desirable.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to write clearly and concisely.

Responsibilities

• Assist with RF PCB design and schematic work.
• Support component research and selection.
• Help with board bring-up and RF signal path debug
• Perform spurious, flatness, and phase noise measurements and analysis
• Perform signal-integrity simulations with guidance.
• Document test results and contribute to design updates.
