Next Matter is seeking a full-time RF Hardware Engineer in Los Angeles, CA, responsible for the end-to-end design and testing of advanced RF devices for space applications. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in microwave circuitry, PCB design, and RF metrics. You'll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure robust communication systems under demanding conditions. Compensation ranges from $150K to $200K, inclusive of equity offerings, and U.S. citizenship or residency is required.
Qualifications
Robust experience designing circuitry in microwave bands across RF data conversion and frontend chains.
Experience with the end-to-end PCB design process, including schematic capture, layout, fabrication and assembly.
Excellent understanding of RF metrics such as S-parameters, P1dB, noise figure.
Responsibilities
Perform trades and analysis on board and system architecture.
Coordinate with digital electronics engineers.
Design for performance under space-grade acceptance.
Work with mechanical engineers for thermal dissipation.
Troubleshoot new RF PCBAs.
Test and validate RF performance metrics.
