Job summary

3dB Labs seeks a motivated Electrical Engineer to join our growing team. The mid-level role focuses on RF-adjacent hardware design and ownership across the full hardware development lifecycle.

You design analog and digital circuits, support formal design reviews, and maintain documentation (schematics, BOMs, ICDs). Collaboration with RF systems engineers will drive component selection, lab bring‑ups, and fielded hardware delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 3–6 years in defense/government or adjacent industry context.
• Experience with design reviews (PDR, CDR) on government contracts.
• Proficiency in schematic capture and PCB layout tools (Altium/KiCad).
• Familiarity with RF concepts and lab test equipment.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and test analog and digital RF-adjacent hardware.
• Support milestones including SRR, PDR, CDR, and TRR.
• Create and maintain schematics, BOMs, ICDs, and design docs.
• Collaborate with RF systems engineers on component selection and test bring‑up.
• Plan and execute electrical testing and verification activities.
• Assist in transitioning designs from prototype to production.
• Ensure compliance with system-level requirements and standards.
