Job summary

Circet USA is seeking an RF Engineer in the New York area to design, test, and validate radio products and infrastructure. You will perform systems testing, analyze data, and prepare technical reports to support product development.

Ideal candidates have a engineering degree with 4–8 years of telecom experience, strong knowledge of LTE and 5G technologies, and the ability to travel as needed for field work and site validation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering with 4–8 years of related experience.
• Experience in telecommunications engineering is a plus.
• Ability to read and interpret technical journals and procedures.
• Strong presentation skills for diverse business audiences.
• Deep knowledge of LTE Air Interface, PHY, MAC, RLC, RRC and PDCP layers.
• Willingness to travel sporadically.
• Familiar with 5G architectures and nodes (ENDC).
• Experience with field testing and data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Perform RF testing, verification and work to resolve issues related to new Radio product offerings.
• Follow established testing processes and procedures to ensure reliability and thorough data collection.
• Maintain knowledge of existing base station products and components.
• Assist with creation of Test Plans, Trouble Reports, automation scripts, MOP, etc. and generate problem reports for resolution.
• Interface with software/hardware design groups and assist in debugging and resolution.
• Prepare reports, compile and analyze data for communication of results and conclusions.
• Familiarity with 5G Architecture types and different nodes, ENDC etc.
• Identify and troubleshoot 5G field KPIs, connections, handovers and drops.
• Familiar with 5G testing and troubleshooting for throughput using TCP/UDP; perform Site Shakedown, ATPs, Scanner drives and field activities as needed.
• Enable/disable log mask settings for objective testing scenarios.
• Perform multiple device testing scenarios and troubleshoot connectivity issues.
• Process logs and ensure data reliability across NR and LTE.
• Support DT Coordination efforts as required.
• Other duties as assigned.
