Job summary

Mercury Systems, Inc. is seeking an experienced engineer in California to perform hands-on troubleshooting in manufacturing and development environments.

You will work with engineers and technicians on offline asset reduction and support ongoing engineering projects, while aiding producibility improvements and collaborating with Lead Engineers on design updates. Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Typically requires a minimum of 2 years of experience in High Reliability, Aerospace, or Defense Electronics product development and manufacturing.
  • Strong problem-solving skills within fast-paced environments, with a proven ability to collaborate and thrive in team-oriented settings.
  • Broad experience with RF/Microwave test equipment to test/troubleshoot RF/Microwave, analog, digital, and mixed signal circuits at the module and component level.
  • Ability to balance multiple and sometimes conflicting priorities.
  • Must be able to obtain security clearance upon hire.

Job description

Job Responsibilities

Required Qualifications


  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field

Preferred Qualifications


  • Master's degree in electrical engineering or a related field

  • System level troubleshooting for digital, analog, and power circuits

  • Transfer to production of new or existing designs

  • Familiar with FPGA and Programmable Logic design

  • Experience using data analysis tools such as MATLAB and simulation software (Microwave Office, ADS, HFSS)

  • Experience in failure analysis/Root-Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) investigation

  • Active clearance day one


This position requires you to have or obtain a government security clearance. Security clearances may only be granted to U.S. citizens.


Fulltime Equivalent Job Grade Salary Range for this position



  • $34,200.00 - $68,400.00 annual salary for in-office or hybrid employees in FL, GA, IN, AZ, AL, MD or TX, and all remote employees

  • $38,300.00 - $76,600.00 annual salary for in-office or hybrid employees in VA, CA, NH or MA

  • $40,400.00 - $80,700.00 annual salary for in-office or hybrid employees in NJ
