HII Mission Technologies is seeking RF Spectrum Engineers to support DoD, Federal, and commercial satellite customers. You will contribute to spectrum management, analysis, electronic warfare, and engineering tasks in a role that requires onsite work in Annapolis Junction, Maryland. We welcome new graduates and consider different experience levels.

RF Engineer 3: $108,606–$155,151; RF Engineer 4: $129,850–$185,500. Security clearance at Secret level is required or obtainable.

Qualifications

  • LEVEL 3 requires 5 yrs with BA/BS or 3 yrs with MS; or 9 yrs with HS.
  • LEVEL 4 requires 9 yrs with BA/BS or 7 yrs with MS or 13 yrs with HS.
  • Knowledge of RF engineering, wireless communication, or spectrum management from experience.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Clearance: Must be able to obtain and maintain a secret level security clearance.

  • Apply technical concepts, techniques, and procedures in the development of technical products.
  • Perform spectrum measurements and signal analysis using specialized tools.
  • Collaborate with design and operations teams to integreate RF spectrum considerations into system development.
  • Troubleshoot spectrum-related issues and recommend corrective actions.
  • Learn and apply DoD, NTIA, FCC spectrum policies and procedures.
  • Stay current with emerging technologies and their spectrum requirements.

Job Description

HII Mission Technologies is seeking RF Spectrum Engineers to support a diverse range of DoD, Federal, and commercial satellite customers. In this role, you will may contribute to critical programs involving radio frequency spectrum management, analysis, electronic warfare, and engineering.

This position requires onsite work in Annapolis Junction, Maryland.

RF ENGINEER 3 - $108,606 - $155,151

RF ENGINEER 4 - $129,850 - $185,500

Essential Job Responsibilities
  • Apply technical concepts, techniques, and procedures in the development of technical products.
  • Perform spectrum measurements and signal analysis using specialized tools.
  • Collaborate with design and operations teams to integreate RF spectrum considerations into system development.

Minimum Qualifications
  • LEVEL 3 - 5 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 3 years relevant experience with Masters in realted field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 9 years relevant experience.
  • LEVEL 4 - 9 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 7 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 13 years relevant experience.
  • Knowledge of RF engineering, wireless communication, or spectrum management gained from experience that may include internships and school projects.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Clearance: Must be able to obtain and maintain a secret level security clearance.
Physical Requirements
  • May require working in an office, industrial, shipboard, or laboratory environment. Capable of climbing ladders and tolerating confined spaces and extreme temperature variances.
