Job summary

NASK Incorporated in Dayton, Ohio is seeking a skilled RF Engineer to lead investigations into RF phenomena and develop advanced modeling and algorithms for MASINT, GEOINT, and SIGINT mission sets.

You will perform analysis using DSP, MATLAB, and Python, contribute to RF signature capabilities, and collaborate with a fast-growing, delivery-oriented team in a dynamic defense environment. A TS clearance or ability to obtain TS/SCI is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, physics, applied mathematics, or a related technical field.
• 2+ years of demonstrated professional experience in RF engineering, signal processing, and electromagnetic phenomenology.
• Background in RF signature analysis, mathematical modeling, and algorithm development.
• Proficiency in Digital Signal Processing (DSP), MATLAB, and Python.

We are seeking a skilled RF Engineer to lead scientific investigations into complex radio frequency (RF) phenomena. In this role, you will perform advanced technical analysis, modeling, and algorithm development to support critical MASINT, GEOINT, and SIGINT mission sets. You will also develop custom methodologies and tools to sustain and advance our RF signature capabilities.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Physics, Applied Mathematics, or a related technical field.
• 2+ years of demonstrated professional experience in RF engineering, signal processing, and electromagnetic phenomenology.
• Background in RF signature analysis, mathematical modeling, and algorithm development.
• Proficiency in Digital Signal Processing (DSP), MATLAB, and Python.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Advanced Education: Master’s degree in electrical engineering, Physics, Applied Mathematics, or a related technical field.
• Senior Experience: 10+ years of professional related work experience.
• Domain Expertise: Familiarity with NASIC’s MASINT, GEOINT, and/or SIGINT mission sets and operational environments.
• Specialized Knowledge: Advanced education, skills, and experience in:
• RF theory, Communications theory, and Radar theory
• Xpatch and X-Midas
• Python and C++ programming
• Associated AI/ML libraries and capabilities
• Clearance: Active TS/SCIw/ Poly
