Job description

Odyssey Technical Solutions is a state‑of‑the‑art Repair Facility located in Round Rock, Texas that specializes in RF Generators, AutoMatch Networks, DC Power Supplies, Remote Plasma Systems, and Microwave Generators/Power Supplies.

JOB SUMMARY

Employee must demonstrate electronic ability, knowledge, and aptitude with minimal supervision.

REQUIRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education and Experience:
  • Associate’s Degree equivalent or higher
  • Employee must have a technical background
  • Any equivalent combination of education and experience can be considered.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license by date of hire.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

Technician must be proficient in:

  • Comprehending electronic schematics.
  • Setting up and using Test Equipment such as a Power Supply, DVM, Oscilloscope, Spectrum Analyzer, etc.
  • Troubleshooting failures down to the component level using education, equipment, and experience.
  • Soldering and de-soldering electronic components of various types.
  • Repairing, calibrating, and testing customer equipment with emphasis on quality of workmanship.
  • Other non‑specific duties and responsibilities a supervisor may require of the employee.
TOOLS AND EQUIPMENT USED

Personal computer, including word processing and permitting software; motor vehicle, telephone, cell phone, laptop, ladder or scaffolding, tape measure, and appropriate safety equipment.
