Position Overview

Entry Level RF Designer (On Site) at Communication Technology Services LLC, Arizona Design Center Office.

Hours: 2pm - 11pm, Monday through Friday. Training onsite for 4‑6 weeks; training hours may vary (8am-5pm, 9am-6pm, 10am-7pm).

We seek a candidate with high energy, dedication, attention to detail, timeliness, teamwork, positive attitude, adaptability, self‑motivation, reliability, and willingness/ability to learn new technical concepts.

Responsibilities

• Gain experience between design and construction phases of a project.
• Create client‑facing, detail‑oriented documents influencing company success.
• Develop solutions using a knowledge base to select efficient engineering approaches.
• Learn fundamentals of in‑building wireless design and validate engineering approaches with the Design Center.
• Develop relationships with management‑level employees, sales, engineering, and OEM partners.
• Stay informed on latest in‑building wireless technology, receiving new product information before public release.
• Lay out DAS designs in iBwave.
• Follow direction of Central Engineering Lead.
• Work at a PC for extended hours.
• Understand frequency bands, protocols, and signal quantification terms.
• Understand repeater and DAS OEM equipment and architectures.
• Learn RF Math and its application to design.
• Set up 3D modeling in iBwave.
• Produce thorough and clean DAS designs.
• Produce accurate BOMs from design effort.
• Produce fiber and rack diagrams in Visio.
• Export and consolidate designs, plots, and reports.

Pay Scale

Pay: $19‑$24 per hour based upon experience.
