Job summary

Skyworks Solutions, Inc. is seeking an Electrical Design Engineering Intern for our Campbell Rd, TX location. This internship offers real work experience, exposure to upper management, and opportunities for full-time roles as available.

The intern will support RF, analog, and power-management circuit design, work with schematic development, and participate in lab testing to help optimize performance in high-performance analog devices.

Qualifications

• MS or PhD in Electrical Engineering.
• Exposure to RF measurement equipment such as spectrum analyzers and network analyzers.
• Minimum GPA of 3.0.

Responsibilities

• Support the design, analysis, simulation, and testing of RF, analog, and power management circuit card assemblies for advanced communication and electronic systems.
• Assist engineers with schematic development, component selection, RF signal chain design, and circuit performance optimization.
• Participate in characterization and laboratory testing using equipment such as network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, signal generators, oscilloscopes, and power meters.
• Perform circuit simulations and analyses to evaluate gain, noise figure, linearity, power consumption, and overall system performance.
• Contribute to design documentation, technical reports, design reviews, and test procedures.
• Gain hands-on experience developing next-generation RF and mixed-signal hardware while working alongside experienced electrical and RF design engineers.
