Job summary

ProAmpac in Wisconsin is seeking a Rewind Assistant to join the Rewind Department. You will assist with machine setup, supply materials, monitor operations, and support routine maintenance.

This role requires a high school diploma or GED, basic mechanical and math skills, and a team-focused attitude. Prior rewinding equipment experience is a plus. The position offers a 2-2-3 rotating shift, a clean climate-controlled environment, and good benefits.

Qualifications

• Previous rewinding equipment experience is a plus.
• Basic mechanical and math skills are required.
• Strong attention to detail and a team-focused attitude.

Responsibilities

• Assists with machine setup.
• Supplies raw material or components specific to the rewinder machine as needed.
• Monitors rewinder machine operations.
• Assists with routine maintenance.
• Troubleshoots minor technical issues, performs minor repairs or adjustments under the guidance of the primary operator or maintenance personnel.
• Ability to fill-in or temporarily run the machine during shift changes, or as necessary.
• Maintains a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
• Adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures, to prevent accidents or injuries.
• Completes production logs or reports as required for documentation purposes.
• Effectively works with other departments or team members.
• Uses forklift/clamp trucks to transport product.
