Job summary

McMillen, Inc seeks a Revit Team Member to join our CAD/BIM/VDC team for water resources projects. The role involves coordinating MEP portions, developing clear Revit designs, and collaborating with design engineers to meet project deadlines.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of Revit experience (MEP emphasis), AutoCAD, and ACC/Forma proficiency, with knowledge of water resource facilities such as fish hatcheries and hydro facilities. Boise, ID or Denver, CO are preferred locations.

Qualifications

• Expert with Autodesk Revit and MEP emphasis.
• Proficient with pipe routing and equipment placement.
• Proficient with Clash Detection.
• Working with Revit content to fulfill project requirements.
• Proficient with ACC/Forma and AutoCAD.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate MEP portions of Revit projects and coordinate with project teams.
• Actively participate in projects by providing support through all phases of design and delivery process.
• Collaborate in a master model with Revit and Civil 3D.
• Manage multiple assignments with high organization and quality.
• Experience with water resources projects (water treatment, fish hatcheries, hydro facilities) is a plus.

Job description

McMillen, Inc is currently seeking a Revit Team Member to join our growing team. The Revit Team Member will work with our CAD/BIM/VDC team to take our water resource projects to the Revit world. This experienced designer will be immersed in the fast-paced water resources engineering environment, often requiring creative designs to solve complex design problems. Frequent coordination and communication with design engineers is essential to solving problems, improving processes, and completing projects on time.

The Qualified candidate for this role will have at least 5 years of experience preparing and developing clear, complete, and accurate designs with Revit (MEP emphasis), AutoCAD, and ACC/Forma, and preferred candidates would understand the water resource industry, to include Fish Hatcheries, Hydroelectric Power, and Pump Storage.

Preferred locations for these positions are Boise, ID and Denver, CO.

Responsibilities:

• Coordination of MEP portions of Revit projects & coordinate with project teams.
• Actively participate in projects by providing support through all phases of design and delivery process.
• The ability to work and collaborate with Revit, and Civil 3D within a master model.
• Must be able to manage multiple assignments, remain highly organized, and produce products at a fast pace, while maintaining high quality standards.
• Preferred candidates will have worked on water treatment plants, pump stations, fish hatcheries, and hydropower facilities o r similar MEP projects .

Qualifications:

• Expert with Autodesk's Revit.
• Proficient with pipe routing and equipment placement.
• Proficient with Clash Detection.
• Working with Revit content to fulfill project requirements.
• Proficient with Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC)/Forma
• Proficient with AutoCAD

Preferred Skills:

• Technical or vocation program completion with focus in design and drafting; AA/AS preferred
• Proficient with Navisworks and 3D coordination is required
• 5-7 years experience preferred as a multi-discipline designer
• Previous experience with Fire Protection is a plus
• Knowledge of Electrical systems in Revit is a plus
• Knowledge of Dynamo or Python for Revit is a plus
• Experience in water resources is a major plus
• Must have good technical writing and professional communication skills
• Proficiency with MS Office suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
• Ability to collaborate productively with multidisciplinary team members on a variety of concurrent projects.

Compensation Package:

• Pay Range: $36.68 - $50.00 hr. (DOE)
