Job summary

Vanderweil Engineers in New York City is seeking a Revit Drafter to join our hybrid team. You will create 3D Revit models for construction documents and coordinate multi-discipline drawings with engineers and designers.

The role offers mentoring, growth opportunities, and exposure to high-profile projects at our NYC office on a hybrid schedule (up to 2 days remote). A 1+ year Revit background and an Associate degree or technical training are required.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of working knowledge of Revit.
• Associates degree or equivalent from a vocational training program or technical school.
• Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of internal staff and clients.
• Detail oriented with problem solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Create 3D technical models using Revit for construction documents.
• Draft and provide layouts of Audio/Video equipment, telecom, security systems, multiple large LED panels and projection mapping projects.
• Coordination of multi-discipline Revit models.
• Will create and modify technical drawings and schematics from engineer markups using Revit and AutoCAD.
• Creative interaction with various engineers and designers.

Flexible & Hybrid Culture:

Compensation for this position is $65,000 - $80,000 plus benefits pending experience and education.
